Funding Model Options for ACCO Integrated Early Years Services Final Report

Created:

This research report has been commissioned by the Early Childhood Care and Development Policy Partnership. It examines current and future needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Organisations delivering integrated early years services.

Part of the partnership’s role is to commission independent research. This work informs us on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander early childhood care and development policy.

Research commissioned and published by the partnership does not represent government commitments unless:

  • it has progressed through Closing the Gap governance, and/or
  • is reflected in the policy commitments of individual governments.

Evaluation of Connected Beginnings: mid-term report 2023

Created:

We and the Department of Health and Aged Care commissioned a mid-term 2023 evaluation of the Connected Beginnings program. Connected Beginnings is an Australian Government grants program that helps Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children get the best start to life.

Inside Policy conducted the evaluation. It found the program supported positive early educational and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
