We have published detail of early childhood education and care (ECEC) services with conditions imposed to ensure quality and safety standards are met on the enforcement action register.
This action relates to services failing to meet National Quality Standards for several years, in some cases where the rating was issued while the service was operated by a previous provider.
This action comes after new legislation passed parliament on 31 July.
Providers and services that do not meet appropriate standards may be subject to compliance action. This includes:
- suspension or cancellation of their Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approval
- having further conditions placed on their CCS approval.
Details of further action will be progressively added to the enforcement action register.
You can find information on the National Quality Framework (NQF) and NQS on the ACECQA website. This includes guidance on how to improve quality and safety.
We encourage you to engage with your regulator to discuss your NQS rating.
