The Australian and South Australian Governments are partnering to expand the Naracoorte Child Day Care Centre through a new integrated hub, giving more families access to early childhood education and care (ECEC) in the Limestone Coast region.

The hub will bring together early education, health, wellbeing and community services in one location.
The Australian Government will invest $6.6 million through the Building Early Education Fund. The South Australian Government will invest $6.1 million to support the project.
Once complete, the expanded service will provide 90 ECEC places, creating 55 additional places for children and families in Naracoorte.
The integrated hub will also include allied health, parenting programs and other community facilities, bringing a range of services together in one location to support children and families.
The hub is expected to open in early 2029. The existing service will continue operating from its current location until the new centre is completed.
Naracoorte is the sixth South Australian site announced through the Building Fund, following announcements in Kadina, Kimba, Quorn, Bordertown and Davoren Park.
The $1 billion Building Fund provides capital funding to build or expand ECEC services in areas of need.
