Building Early Education Fund supports first 4 large-scale projects

The Australian Government has signed the first 4 agreements under the Building Early Education Fund large-scale grant round.

On this page:

This grant round supports experienced not-for-profit providers to build and expand early childhood education and care (ECEC) services in areas of need.

Under the first 4 agreements:

  • SDN Children's Services will expand its service in Bathurst, New South Wales
  • Regional Early Education & Development (REED) will expand its service in Merredin, Western Australia
  • Goodstart Early Learning will build new services in Lalor, Victoria and Trevallyn, Tasmania.

Together, these projects will create up to 215 additional ECEC places across Australia.

The large-scale grant round is one stream within the $1 billion Building Early Education Fund. More agreements under the large-scale grant round will be announced in coming months.
