Today, legislation for the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector passed parliament.
The changes make the legislation clearer, promote transparency, and remove ambiguity.
These include:
- requiring providers to share information about the cost of delivering ECEC
- sharing and disclosing information collected under Family Assistance Law (FAL), and
- technical amendments to remove inconsistencies.
