Why are shared accounts not permitted?
Shared accounts cannot be used because individual completions must be tracked and reported accurately.
How do I know if my account uses a group or shared-access email?
If your login email is something generic (like admin@workplace.com) or is used by multiple people at your service, it is a shared account. Anyone who uses this account must re-register with a personal email address.
What is a personal vs shared email address?
A personal email address is one that only you can access. This could be your individual work email (your.name@workplace.com) or a personal email (your.name@mail.com).
A group or shared-access email is an address used by more than one person. Examples include admin@workplace.com, fdc@workplace.com, director@workplace.com, accounts@workplace.com, or info@workplace.com. These are no longer permitted for Geccko accounts.
If you registered with a group or shared-access email, you must re-register using a personal email. Previous course completions can be transferred to your new account.
Can I use my personal email or work email?
You may use your individual work email (your.name@workplace.com) or a personal email (your.name@mail.com), as long as it is not shared.
