IH Sydney Training Services Pty Ltd [02623G], trading as International House Sydney, entered voluntary administration on Monday 2 December 2024. PKF Melbourne was appointed as the administrator. International House Sydney ceased operating on Monday 9 December 2024. On Tuesday 7 January 2025, International House Sydney was placed into liquidation and PKF Melbourne was appointed as the liquidator. PKF Melbourne had until Monday 20 January 2025 to meet International House Sydney’s obligations by placing students in an alternative course with another Australian education provider or refunding students’ unspent tuition fees. 

The TPS began assisting those eligible students owed a refund of tuition fees due to visa refusals on Monday 13 January 2025. The TPS began assisting all other students on Tuesday 21 January 2025.

ITHEA Corporation Pty Ltd [02892J], trading as Institute of Tertiary and Higher Education Australia, was placed into liquidation and ceased operating on Tuesday 6 January 2026. Dye & Co. Pty Ltd has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Friday 16 January 2026 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of ITHEA.

JP International College Pty Limited [03190J] entered liquidation on Tuesday 23 July 2024. Cathro & Partners Pty Ltd has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Thursday 3 October 2024 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of JP International College.

Hamro Institute of Business Technology Pty Ltd [03360G], trading as Kingston Institute Australia, entered liquidation on Tuesday 7 May 2024. CRS Insolvency Services has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Monday 13 May 2024 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of Kingston Institute Australia.

Leeds College Pty Ltd [03757G] was placed into liquidation and ceased operating on Wednesday 11 February 2026. SV Partners has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) is in contact with SV Partners to inform them of Leeds College’s obligations to students and to determine how we can support Leeds College and their students during this difficult time.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) is aware that Caprock International Pty Ltd [01942A], trading as Lloyds International College, North Sydney English College, ceased delivering courses to students effective 16 February 2026 and entered liquidation on 20 February 2026.

Quartz Advisory was appointed as the liquidator and is working to meet Lloyds International College’s obligations to students.

Lonsdale Institute Pty Ltd [02836F] will cease operating on Monday 14 July 2025. Lonsdale Institute is working to arrange for all students to be transferred to other suitable education providers with minimal disruption to the students' education.

Move Academy Pty Ltd [41087], trading as Blockchain Academy International, had its VSL approval registration cancelled by the national regulator, effective Friday 16 February 2024.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Monday 26 February 2024 and will be working to assist the VSL students affected by the closure of Move Academy.

OHS Media Services Pty Ltd [03448K], trading as Pacific Training Group, entered voluntary administration on Wednesday 19 July 2023. West Burn Advisory has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Friday 21 July 2023 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of Pacific Training Group.

PAXMIL Education Holdings Pty Ltd [02368G], trading as Perth International College of English, was placed into liquidation and ceased operating on Monday 16 June 2025. Sheridans Chartered Accountants has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Monday 16 June 2025 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of Perth International College of English.

Greenhill Education Group Pty Ltd [03002G], trading as Royal Greenhill Institute of Technology (RGIT), ceased operating on Friday 22 August 2025. SV Partners has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Thursday 28 August 2025 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of RGIT.

Xamerg Pty Ltd [02480G], trading as The Eagle Academy, ceased delivery of its courses to international students on Tuesday 4 October 2022. The TPS has stepped in to refund students their unspent tuition fees.

The Language Academy Pty Ltd [03758G] was placed into liquidation and ceased operating on Thursday 1 May 2025. Worrells has been appointed as the liquidator. 

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Monday 5 May 2025 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of The Language Academy.

The TPS acknowledges that The Malka Group (03397E), trading as TMG Training and Consulting, TMG College Australia, which closed and entered voluntary administration on 8 August 2022, has now reopened under new ownership.

The TPS is continuing to assist the remaining international students affected by the TMG closure in August 2022.

The Malka Group Pty Ltd [03397E], trading as TMG Training and Consulting, TMG College Australia, entered voluntary administration on Thursday 14 March 2024. Worrells Solvency & Forensic Accountants has been appointed as the administrator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Thursday 28 March 2024 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of The Malka Group.

United Pop Australia Pty Ltd [03749G] entered voluntary administration on Wednesday 25 October 2023. PKF Melbourne has been appointed as the administrator.

UPC Pty Ltd [02751M], trading as University Preparation College, was placed into liquidation and ceased operating on Wednesday 17 December 2025. Westburn Advisory has been appointed as the liquidator.

The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) activated on Thursday 18 December 2025 and will be working to assist the international students affected by the closure of University Preparation College.

Australian Pilot Training Academy [02844F] (APTA) trading as Vortex Air Academy defaulted on 8 November 2022 and did not meet its obligations to its international students in Australia and intending overseas students.
