The RRE Framework aims to support Australian primary and secondary schools and school systems to plan and deliver age and developmentally appropriate, evidence-based and expert-developed RRE. It sets out a clear national vision, outcomes and principles to guide consistent, high‑quality respectful relationships education across school communities. It has been developed for schools and school systems to guide the delivery of consent and respectful relationships education in Australian primary and secondary schools.

Respectful Relationships Education Framework: Rapid Literature Review and Stakeholder Consultation Report

Statement of Intent - Western Australia

The Australian and Western Australian Governments have signed a Statement of Intent to increase funding for all public schools in Western Australia from 95 per cent of the Schooling Resourcing Standard (SRS) to 100 per cent by 2026.

Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Schools

The Australian Framework for Generative AI in Schools (the Framework) seeks to guide the responsible and ethical use of generative AI tools in ways that benefit students, schools, and society. The Framework supports all people connected with school education including school leaders, teachers, support staff, service providers, parents, guardians, students and policy makers.

In June 2025, Education Ministers endorsed the 2024 Framework Review, undertaken by the National AI in Schools Taskforce (the Taskforce) in consultation with representatives of all jurisdictions, school sectors and national agencies.
