CCS rates to rise in July 2023 after Australian Parliament passes Cheaper Child Care law

The Australian Government’s Cheaper Child Care legislation passed through the Australian Parliament today.

This means the $4.5 billion to deliver more affordable child care announced in the Federal budget in October becomes law.

Under the legislation, Child Care Subsidy rates will increase from July 2023.

The number of subsidised early childhood education and care hours available to First Nations families will also increase.
