Australia’s Education Ministers launched the National Teacher Workforce Action Plan (NTWAP) in December 2022 to address the national teacher workforce crisis. This 2025 update outlines the progress made over the past two years and highlights the collaborative efforts across governments, education agencies, and the non-government sector to strengthen and sustain the teaching profession.

Actions marked as complete have been endorsed by Education Ministers, while others remain in progress for 2025 and beyond.
