2013 Indigenous students

Higher education indigenous student tables for the 2013 full year. Indigenous students are those who self-identify as being of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
2013 Liability status categories

Higher education liability status categories tables for the 2013 full year. These tables provide information on a student’s status for a unit of study (Commonwealth Supported place, scholarship holder and fee-paying).

A list of higher education institutions for the 2013 reference year by State and Type – Public Universities (Table A), Private Universities (Table B and Table C) and Non-University Higher Education Institutions.
2013 Overseas students

Higher education overseas student tables for the 2013 full year. Overseas students includes students who have temporary entry visas, or are diplomats or a dependent of a diplomat (except New Zealand) and reside in Australia during the unit of study, and non-domestic students residing outside Australia during the unit of study.

Employer Satisfaction Survey 2014 Data Dictionary

This data dictionary provides information on the dataset produced as part of the Employer Satisfaction Survey (ESS) Pilot Project. This project was conducted between October 2013 and March 2014 and involved a survey of recent domestic bachelor degree graduates from four Australian universities and their current workplace supervisors.

The Pilot Employer Satisfaction Survey was conducted over 2013-14 and surveyed the supervisors of graduates from four universities across five fields of education.
The pilot survey sought to measure employer satisfaction with graduates’ generic skills, technical skills and work readiness.
Completion rates of domestic bachelor students 2005 – 2012: A cohort analysis

The Department has conducted a cohort study of completion rates for domestic bachelor students. All domestic bachelor students attending Table A universities in the 2005 cohort were tracked from commencement in 2005 to the end of 2012 using their student ID (within institution) and their Commonwealth Higher Education Student Support Number, CHESSN (across institutions). The results provide an overview of student outcomes between 2005 and 2012.
