2024–2025 Annual Report
The Department of Education 2024–25 Annual Report was tabled in Parliament on Wednesday 22 October 2025.
The Annual Report includes the department’s audited financial statements and audited annual performance statements for the year ending 30 June 2025. The report provides information about the department’s achievements, corporate arrangements and performance.

Department of Education 2024-25 Annual Report
The Department of Education 2024–25 Annual Report has been prepared in accordance with section 46 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and the Department of Finance’s Resource Management Guide No.135 – Annual reports for non-corporate Commonwealth entities. The Department of Education’s 2024-25 Annual Report includes the department’s audited financial statements and audited annual performance statements for the financial year ending 30 June 2025.
Please Note: The reference to Commonwealth Prac Payments under Our achievements (page 16) in the 2024–25 Annual Report was included in error. Correct information on the development of the Commonwealth Prac Payments in 2024–25 is provided on page 25. A formal correction will be included in the 2025–26 Annual Report in accordance with section 17AH of the PGPA Rule 2014.
