This Policy Update outlines changes introduced in 2025 by China’s Ministry of Education (MoE) to its transnational education (TNE) framework, known as the Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools (CFCRS) initiative. Changes include simplifying approval processes, easing enrolment quota and program model restrictions, accelerating review timelines, and introducing tools to support clearer communication and partner matching. The Policy Update also lists the Australia-China Joint Institutes and Joint Programs approved by the MoE under the CFCRS in 2025.
