The Job-ready Graduates Package commenced on 1 January 2021 resulting in changes to the funding for Commonwealth supported places.
This means that the amount students pay toward some courses – usually deferred through a HECS-HELP loan – changed from 1 January 2021.
Students who enrolled prior to 1 January 2021 and undertake units in disciplines affected by increased student contribution amounts (SCA) under the JRG reforms retain grandfathered SCA rates. Students who enrolled after 1 January 2021 are subject to revised JRG SCA rates.
