Student records

Students are strongly encouraged to obtain an up-to-date copy of their student records from ITHEA.

If you are unable to obtain a copy of your student records for the units of study you have already completed, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) may be able to assist. The ASQA website includes information about how ASQA can help students and how to get a copy of your student records.

Information for domestic students enrolled in government-subsidised courses

The TPS cannot assist domestic students enrolled in government-subsidised courses at ITHEA under the Victorian Skills First Program. The Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) website contains information about what to do if your training provider closes.

If you were enrolled in one of these courses, the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions will email you a fee waiver letter. You can continue your studies at a TAFE or training provider with the same or a similar course, without having to pay more tuition fees. You can contact the TAFE and Training Line by emailing tafe.courseline@djsir.vic.gov.au or calling 13 18 23.

You will receive a fee credit for any units of study that you were doing when ITHEA closed. You will need to pay the amenities or materials costs at the new training provider. Please make sure you get copies of your student records or a statement of attainment from the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

If you need help, please contact ASQA or the Victorian Registration and Qualifications Authority (VRQA)
