The Antisemitism Education Taskforce Midpoint Update has been released, outlining strong progress since its establishment on 18 December 2025. The 12-month Taskforce is identifying and implementing a range of measures to prevent, combat and respond to antisemitism and build social cohesion in education. These include measures announced as part of the Australian Government Response to the Special Envoy’s Plan to Combat Antisemitism.
The Midpoint Update includes an overview of the Taskforce’s key priorities for the second half of its term, which focus on supporting lasting change across Australia’s education and training systems. It also summarises relevant work underway by Taskforce members to address antisemitism and places the Taskforce’s work in the context of similar efforts internationally.
