What is a University Study Hub?
University Study Hubs offer welcoming and inclusive places to study and trained staff to provide support for tertiary students, or those considering further study, in communities where pursuing university hasn’t always seemed like a real option.
Study Hubs are not education providers but aim to break down barriers to tertiary study by making it easier for students to access learning resources and support services, engage with other students, and succeed in their higher education journey.
There are 15 Suburban University Study Hubs (SUSH) and 56 Regional University Study Hubs (RUSH) located students across Australia.
Each Hub is shaped by its community, tailoring services to the needs of local students.

Who can use a Hub?
Domestic students enrolled with an Australian university or vocational education and training (VET) provider are eligible to register for free access to the facilities and support available at the Hubs.
More information about eligibility requirements and how to register is available via each Hub’s website. Scroll down to search for your nearest Hub using the interactive map below or download a copy of the University Study Hubs Location Map which lists the locations of the 71 Hubs across the country.

Recent funding commitments
As part of the Australian Universities Accord priority reforms, the Australian Government committed $66.9 million to establishing additional RUSH and expanding the model to outer metropolitan and peri-urban locations.
