Get early childhood compliance knowledge online, or Geccko, is the Australian Government’s online learning platform for the early childhood education and care (ECEC) sector.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) helps families with the costs of child care. Families must meet eligibility criteria to get CCS. The amount of CCS a family can get depends on their circumstances.

All Child Care Subsidy (CCS) eligible families can get 3 days of subsidised child care per week, or 72 hours a fortnight. This started on 5 January 2026 and replaces the previous activity test.
