Various schooling links and resources have been collated to help parents access the information they need during their child's schooling years.

Adding school term dates to the home and work calendar is an important part of family life. This list provides links to terms dates for each state and territory in Australia as well as contact details for each state and territory education department.

Information about the reforms to school funding, from 2018 to 2027, is available following the Government's Quality Schools announcement on 2 May 2017.

Feeling safe and supported is the right of everyone in the school community. The Student Wellbeing Hub as well as the what to do if your child is being bullied sites provide links, key information, advice and activities for educators, parents as well as primary and secondary students, wanting to combat bullying.

ABC Splash, Learning Potential and Learning Potential Resources provide access to educational games for children of all ages.

The Assistance for Isolated Children Scheme offers financial help to for parents and carers of children who can't go to a state school because of geographical isolation, disability or special needs.

Support for non-government schools

On 29 April 2020 the Australian Government announced that non-government schools will have the option to bring forward their July 2020 recurrent school funding payments provided they have a plan to provide a level of education in a standard classroom setting, by 1 June 2020.

COVID-19: National Principles for School Education
