The COVID-19 Review has been established to provide advice to the Australian Government on the impact of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on education for school students with disability.

The Department of Education wants to hear from school students with disability, their families and carers, and educators about their experiences with schooling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The review will consider:

  • the educational experiences of school students with disability throughout the pandemic,
  • the impact of those educational experiences on the wellbeing and education-related outcomes of school students with disability, and
  • how support for school students with disability has been managed by governments, education authorities and schools.

The department welcomes all contributions, including from students with disability, their families and carers on their experiences.

These valuable insights will help inform advice to Government on opportunities for national collaborative actions to better support students with disability in future emergency events.

There are several ways to provide feedback to the review including surveys, questionnaires or writing a submission. You can find more information about getting involved on the Engagement Hub website. A discussion paper with more information is also available (including in Easy Read, Auslan and language translations)
