The Australian Training Awards and Velg Training are pleased to announce that they will be hosting a free webinar for LLN practitioners to address the selection criteria, and apply for, the 2017 Australian Training Awards’ Excellence in Language, Literacy and Numeracy Practice Award.

2016 winner of this award, Ms Isabel Osuna-Gatty and Mr David Tout, Senior Research Fellow at the Australian Council of Education and Research and previous judge for the award will be on the webinar panel to answer your questions.

    • Highlight the ways in which awards criteria should be addressed in order to maximise impact in an application

    • Understanding the award process from lodging the application through to the shortlisting to the judging day

    • What might be expected of finalists particularly at the national event

    • The benefits of applying and participating in the awards (regardless of the outcome) including the prestige and reputation the beholds finalists and winner of the awards (both domestically and on an international stage)

The Australian Training Awards will be held in Canberra, ACT on Thursday 23 November 2017.
