Australian Government funding to help Victorian public schools become more autonomous

The Minister for Education, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP and the Victorian Minister for Education, the Hon Martin Dixon MP have announced that the Australian Government’s $70 million Independent Public Schools initiative will deliver almost $16 million funding to enhance school autonomy in Victoria.

All of Victoria’s 1,526 government schools are expected to benefit from at least one of the activities that will be implemented through the initiative.
