Parental Engagement in Schooling in Low SES
This project looked at best practice strategies that improve knowledge, attitudes and behaviours in respect to the engagement of parents, caregivers and communities in the education of their children. Extended Service School Model Project
This project explored schools that work in partnership with government, local providers and community members to offer extended services to students, their families and the local community. The report on the Extended Service School Model Project is available.
National Literacy and Numeracy Diagnostic Tools Project
A number of computer-based diagnostic tools to support teaching and learning in the early, primary and middle years of schooling were trialed. The report on the National Literacy and Numeracy Diagnostic Tools Project is available.
School Leadership Development Strategies Project
The Project looked at developing a national approach to enhancing the leadership capacity of current and aspiring school leaders and developed an online clearing house, the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership website.
