Corporate Plan

The Corporate Plan 2018-19 reflects the department’s outcomes as they were before skills and training functions were transferred out of the department on 29 May 2019.

Section 35 of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 requires the accountable authority of a Commonwealth entity to prepare and publish a corporate plan every year.

The corporate plan is the primary planning document for the entity and must address the following matters; introduction, purpose, environment, performance, capability, and risk oversight and management of the entity.

The department's corporate plan describes our purpose, activities, strategies (including performance measures) and capability requirements over the next four years to achieve our purpose.

Our corporate plan is one of a suite of strategic documents, developed by the department, to outline our purpose, activities and performance. Other strategic documents include the Portfolio Budget Statements and Annual Report.
