Child Care Package for families

The Child Care Package includes the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and the Child Care Safety Net. CCS is paid directly to services.

Please visit Coronavirus (COVID-19) for up to date information on COVID-19 for early childhood education and care providers and services.

Emergency and natural disaster assistance is available for affected families and providers.

You will need to submit a new claim for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) if you have only recently started using child care.

You can submit a new Child Care Subsidy claim using your Centrelink online account through myGov.

You can get an estimate of what your family may be entitled to by entering your details into the Services Australia Payment and Service Finder.
