Camden Haven High is situated on the mid north coast of NSW. The distance education centre services students in Years 7 to 12 from Newcastle to Coffs Harbour, west to Tamworth and Armidale and east to Lord Howe Island. Students are enrolled for a variety of reasons. These include geographic isolation, illness, parenthood, vocational talent, travel in Australia or overseas and the inability to study their chosen subject at the local school.

The Capricornia School Of Distance Education commenced operation in 1993 as a twin campus, Band 8 school. The two campuses are located 285 kilometres apart in the towns of Emerald and Rockhampton. The Emerald campus shares a site with Denison State School and provides educational facilities for students ranging from Preschool to Year 10. The Rockhampton campus shares a site with Glenmore State School and also caters for students from Preschool to year 10.

The Distance Education Centre, Victoria is a P-12 school providing services for people who, for varying reasons, require tuition via distance education. Primary and Secondary tuition is available to eligible Victorian residents for a minimum of two school terms or six months.
