    The Black Book is a portal to Indigenous media and the Arts in Australia. It has two main sections: the Black Book Directory and Black Book Library. The Directory includes more than 2,700 listings of Indigenous organisations and individuals working across 95 professions in the arts, media and cultural industries. The Library is constantly evolving to include new artistic works by Indigenous people. It currently contains 2,000 works from the late 1890s until now. The Black Book also offers additional pages which provide up to date information about events across the country, jobs and training opportunites, and profiles of leading Indigenous artists to give inspiration to users.

It is a database of contact details for organisations that provide assistance or advice to consumers. It amalgamates the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's "Other agency contacts" and the "Australian Consumer Handbook Online" which was previously available from the Consumers Online website.

    Australian libraries have created this national portal, where users can now search and find information on the Internet in over 63 languages. The MyLanguage concept was inspired by three key ideas: that the Information Society is dependent on fostering access to and publication of multilingual and multicultural information; that libraries are crucial as gateways to multilingual information resources; and that technology and the Internet is a necessary component to developing access to information and resources for new and emergent communities. The site includes a section on mulitcultural library services.

    Established in 1989, the National Business Directory of Australia (NBDA) database provides access to over 700,000 complimentary entries. Categories include: Accomodation and Tourism; Franchises; Government; Schools and Universities; and General Business. Several search facilities are linked to each of the entries to provide fast and effective location of information. Organisations can use the register facility to ensure that information about their products and services can be accessed by of decision makers in companies, corporations, organisations and Government Departments throughout Australia.
