The Lifelong Learning Council Queensland Inc is the peak organisation in the field of adult learning in Queensland, and the state organisation for adult learners, and adult learning facilitators and enablers. LLCQ is a non-government organisation with a membership drawn from the broad spectrum of adult education and learning in the public, private and community sectors. Adult Learning Australia has a leadership role in the community in working towards a learning society that is democratic, nurturing and productive. LLCQ provides advocacy, advice and action that promotes and supports lifelong learning.

The Tasmanian Communities Online Project aims to accelerate the uptake of information technology by people living in rural and regional Tasmania. It does this through the operation of Online Access Centres which provide low cost access to computers and the Internet as well as one-to-one training and assistance in their use. Tasmanian Communities Online is a program of the Government of Tasmania managed by the Department of Education. It was established with support from the Commonwealth through the Networking the Nation program of the Department of Communications Information Technology and the Arts.

The U3A Network-Victoria is an incorporated association whose members, as at March 1998, are 55 Universities of the Third Age (U3As) in Victoria. All of them are autonomous associations in their own right, and have joined the Network voluntarily. The Network is recognised by the Adult, Community and Further Education Board of Victoria as the Peak Body for U3As in this State.
