The Affordable Child Care Plan details the Australian Government's plan to: increase the Childcare Tax Rebate from 30 per cent to 50 per cent - covering up to $7,500 of out-of-pocket costs per child (to apply from 1 July 2008); and pay the 50 per cent Child Care Tax Rebate quarterly - so parents do not have to wait one or two years to receive their money.
