There are seven Aboriginal schools located throughout South Australia; aimed at meeting the needs of learners who live in communities with all or a majority of Aboriginal people. In all of these communities Aboriginal English is the first language of students. The website provides context statements for each of the schools and shows their locations on a map.

The School of Languages is a specialist South Australian government school which provides languages education to more than 1200 students. Languages are offered after-hours in a number of school sites in the Adelaide metropolitain area. A wide range of languages are offered including major international languages, as well as the vitally important languages of strong communities in Australia's multicultural society, and three of Australia's Indigenous Languages, Arabana, Kaurna and Pitjantjatjara.
