Anglo-Australian Observatory Student Fellowship Program

Opportunities exist for Undergraduate Students who have completed not less than 2 years of full time course work in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, Mathematics or related subjects to work at the Anglo-Australian Observatory on research projects under the individual supervision of AAO staff astronomers.

Australian Computer Society (ACS) Foundation

The Australian Computer Society (ACS) has created the ACS Foundation, a new umbrella group for IT&T scholarships and research projects. ACS hopes to see about 80 per cent of the scholarships awarded to the highest-achieving students and about 20 per cent allocated on a needs basis. Sponsors will be allowed to closely target their donations to areas of research, particular universities or states or specific groups, such as indigenous or students with disabilities.

Australian South Sea Islander Community Foundation Scholarships

The Australian South Sea Islander Community Foundation is a trust fund to provide university scholarships for Australian South Sea Islanders, the Australian-born descendants of predominantly Melanesian people who were brought to Queensland between 1863 and 1904. The Foundation is a partnership between the Queensland Government and the corporate sector to create a permanent legacy for the Australian South Sea Islander community.

Bid O'Sullivan Teaching Scholarships

The Queensland Department of Education, Training and the Arts offers the Bid O'Sullivan Teaching Scholarships annually to assist Year 12 students from rural and remote areas who have chosen teaching as their career. The scheme provides financial assistance to the student while studying an undergraduate education course at a Queensland university.

Charles Allan Seymour Hawker Scholarship

The scholarship is available to Australian students undertaking a three or four year course of study approved by the Trustees. In some instances the C.A.S. Hawker Scholarship is offered to post graduate students. Successful applicants can choose to study at one of the nominated Australian universities or Cambridge University in the UK. Country Teaching Scholarships

Scholarships are available to year 12 school leavers, mature aged entrants, current undergraduates who are in a teacher education program full time at a tertiary institution in South Australia, or graduate students with an appropriate degree who have applied or intend to apply to complete a post graduate teacher education program at a tertiary institution in South Australia.
