The Aboriginal Independent Community Schools (AICS) are located within the state of Western Australia and are independent education providers to Indigenous school students in urban, rural and remote areas including the Kimberley, Pilbara, Murchison, Goldfields, Great Southern and the Perth metropolitan area. Much of the education provided is through the employment of early childhood, primary and secondary trained teachers as well as through the employment of Indigenous language specialists, ESL trained teachers and community members.

It is a non-profit organisation incorporated under the ACT Incorporations Act 1991.
